Mackinac Island School District

This year Lisbeth McGregor was selected as Teacher of the Year for Mackinac Island Public Schools. She teaches our youngest learners in the Preschool and Kindergarten classroom. One colleague stated, “ Mrs. McGregor works tirelessly to prepare for instruction.  She takes her job to heart, aiming to provide all educational needs and also providing for needs that aren't required of a teacher, but so often become part of the position. You will often find Mrs. McGregor working in her classroom into the evening and on the weekends as she prepares to teach her preschool and kindergarteners. “ All of us , students, staff and families would agree we are lucky to have Mrs. McGregor.
