Thanks to the coordination of Mackinac Island Community Foundation and Harbor Springs' Festival of the book, students had the opportunity to learn from author John David Anderson today. Each student also received a book to take home.

We had a wonderful First Day Of School Community Picnic yesterday! Thank you to the Grand Hotel for the music, Mackinac Island Community Foundation for the sunglasses, and all of the staff, parents, and community members who pitched in to help make it such a success.

Join us on August 29th between 6-7pm for our "Back to School Night". Students will be able to see their teacher, get schedules, and get any necessary paperwork. We can't wait to see you there.

Tomorrow is the last day to turn in the money for the Laker gear!
